You may notice that the gate now has two locks.
Evening folks,
Membership is due.
I know some of you are forgetful and wit will have slipped your minds, but I WILL be changing the gate code on the 31st March (i.e. this weekend).
All of those members who have already renewed will have received or should be receiving imminently your new card and the gate code.
PS Please remember to send an SAE in with your signed form and payment.
Cheers,
Mark Lowndes
TCC Membership Secretary
To a new year of paddling.
Next pool session 21st January and alternate Sundays from there until the clocks change or thereabouts.
Membership fees are due, so bring along a signed membership form (pdf of form below) this Sunday (even if no details changed) and pop in an envelope so easier to process. Bring an SAE for a membership card.
See you at the pool. See you on the river at some point.
Remember talking about paddling isn’t paddling, only paddling is paddling. Dont wait for others for permission or to organise! Go paddle.
Chris
New gate code is up.
If you haven’t rejoined then post form with SAE to address on form, link for form is below:
See you on the river.
Great turn out on boxing day even taking into account all the bugs and colds doing the rounds.
Hope you all had a nice christmas break.
The pool session resumes today Sunday 8th January.

Hope you all had a good christmas!
This post is just to catch up with some general news and housekeeping.
Wishing you all a happy new year!
Happy New Year.
Hope you all had a good Christmas.
Some housekeeping:
January is the time of membership fee renewal. We run the fees from a single point time of year so we can change the code at a single point. The gate code won’t be changed right away, but will be sometime this month.
Unlike a lot of clubs we have are fortunate to have a piece of land next to the Severn. This requires upkeep and bills to pay. The membership fees go in part to pay for this and in return we get access to a good stretch of water.
So if you are making any new years resolutions, make the most of the pool sessions and our site, brush up on any skills and apply them on the river come spring. If there is anything you wish to learn have a word with Nigel, Mark and Chris (amongst others) at the pool and we will try and help.
See you in the pool or on the river.
Pool sessions will resume on 11th of January 4pm – 5pm There will be no pool session the following Sunday (18th) due to staff training, but normal service will resume the week after.
A quick word about membership forms: Download form —-> Membership App Form 2015
Please note: All members new or old must fill in a form for club records. To keep costs down we prefer to communicate either by the blog for general announcements or via email, so if you ensure the email is correct and clear on the form and also subscribe to the blog to get general updates. All forms must be in an envelope whether posted or handed in to someone at the pool, so money does not get mixed with other peoples forms.
The gate code will be changing soon what with the river dropping to more attractive levels this could prevent your access to the site.
Also those attending the pool could be charged the higher pool fee if not a current member.

Those renewing, if posting or bringing monies/cheques to the pool please put it in an envelope with a membership form.
The form just needs name/s and any details that have changed since previous year, this makes it easier for the membership secretary instead being handed a quantity of money with no details.
Cheers
